The International Liberty Horse Association (ILHA) is our governing association. The ILHA is based near Lexington, Kentucky, and was founded by World-renowned Liberty trainer Dan James and his wife Elizabeth to promote the liberty discipline.

The Tri-State Liberty Horse Club (TSLHC) is a local chapter started by John and Denise Fahey and resides at our ranch in North Pownal, Vermont.
The TSLHC is proud to serve the area encompassing New York, Vermont, and Massachusetts. The mission of TSLHC is to promote that of the ILHA working hand in hand to promote and maintain the integrity of the discipline. We will uphold our mission by offering opportunities for the club members such as competitions, clinics, practices, training, and more while maintaining the liberty horse discipline.

The next on-line ILHA Competition is coming up!
Videos have to be done over a Saturday and Sunday. They are then entered online at the ILHA website and have to be received by midnight Sunday to qualify. Entry fees are $20/class (plus a $4.95 one-time office fee). You must be an ILHA member ($60/year) as well as a TSLHC member ($35/year) to participate. Videos can be done at the Fahey Family Ranch. Haul in fee ($10/horse includes the video and a practice run). Coggins required. A liability release form signed prior. Memberships will automatically be prorated to account for mid-year registrations.
